Hollywood Hills Hideaway
This scenic abode was begging to be rescued from a different decade by way of a creative full remodel and lots of love. Luckily, the style-savvy homeowner trusted in our bold ideas and slightly unconventional propositions, resulting in a whimsically chic retreat.
eclectic in its natural habitat
Pulling inspiration from the surrounding foliage, pond-like pool and brightly colored artwork, we crafted a space that's both light and layered. White walls accomplish a clean gallery effect while the furniture and material choices are strong and textural. As Sunset Magazine noted, we sought to "create serenity with symmetry" with eccentric combinations.
work of art
The client's art collection boasts an impressive array of Salvador Dali original prints which became paramount to the design. Their surrealist style and saturated colors inspired the palette and dictated the overall direction, allowing for plenty of play.
Head over to Curbed for a recent story on the design from the client's perspective. This project is one of our most celebrated and has been featured across several publications.
